12. His Shirt

She stirred in her sleep as a groan of pain escaped her lips. Her whole body was aching badly as if a boulder had wheeled over her and crushed each of her bones.

She forced her eyes open and blinked lightly. The place was semi-dark.

She attempted to sit up but pain shot through her arm. She touched her bandaged wound and wince. Her eyes darted around the place and it wasn't the room where she was held captive.

Slowly everything came back as to what conspired before she lost her consciousness and a chill of terror gripped her form as she abruptly stumbled out of the bed and almost fell because of her hysteria.

She breathed heavily as she bumbled to the huge curtains. She roughly pushed them away as bright sunlight fell straight on her making her blind for a second as she blinked rapidly to adjust her sight. She pushed the curtains away fully and stared through the glass wall at the pool. Her netted veil was there floating on the pool.
