"But there could had been another way." I tried explaining my point again—pointless one at that. He probably would had killed me for real.

"The sickness spreads so fast your majesty. And if I hadn't killed him and he attacked you, you would had been infected. Now that he's dead, a few others he's infected would be cured by now." The guard continued explaining but non of it made sense to me. How the so called plague had started, why it's just claiming the lives of these people, and even worse, how to stop it. My head was so heavy for thoughts that even a big boulder of rock would have had to be lighter at the moment.
