Chapter Forty-eight: What's So Special

I told Claude about my uncanny encounter. It was very surprising and I felt like until now, I was still dreaming. I even had to ask His Majesty to pinch me to know if I'm in reality or not.

But instead of pinching me, Claude suddenly kissed me and bit my lower lip which I smacked his head after that. I was frowning when I told him about the part that the moon goddess said about us and our wolves.

"Have you had any idea that your mother has come to an agreement on something?"

"Agreement? Like what?"

"Uh... I don't know... I felt like the first time I saw her painting was when it was my first time entering the antechamber, I felt like she and your mother had some sort of agreement..." I remember just now the moon goddess's godly female voice which I also heard at that time when I almost fainted upon seeing the painting of Claude's mother.

I watched Claude think. "I am not sure... Mother never said anything about it when she was still alive."
