Chapter Sixty-three: Departure

Just as I promised to Claude, we didn't go to the farewell party and spent our moments together with each other's presence. But we uttered the words that our people needed to hear before we left.

We spent going to the town square by dressing in disguise as commoners to make more memories and did the fun I always do whenever I had my day off.

However, days had passed by, I already didn't notice that I was about to set forward for the war. If Claude did not remind me, I wouldn't have stayed in his arms.

While the servants were helping me dress up for my combat armour suit, Claude was here in my chamber watching the whole process with his stoic expression. 

"Love, calm down," I said while looking at him in the mirror.
