Chapter 35

Aryan-

I tried to keep my focus on the lesson in Mr. Benson’s room, but it was difficult. Kierian and Connor were having a staring contest the entire time. Since they were both Lycan’s I am fairly sure they were arguing telepathically.

I thought that maybe Kierian was acting this way because he still wanted to be with me, but then again, I wasn’t sure. Just as class ended, he got out of his chair and left the room without even glancing at me. I couldn’t let myself think about it.

“Are you going to the field after school? Today will be my first time on the team and I would like to have you there.” Connor stopped me at the door, as I was leaving the classroom.

I noticed Kierian hadn’t wandered off too far, because I caught sight of him down the hall, talking to Liam and two other guys on their football team. Without thinking, I responded to Connor, while returning my attention to him.
