Chapter 54

TARYN POV

We’re quiet for most of the drive from Crescent Lake to Silver Ridge, my hand in Reid’s as he navigates the roads and switchbacks that bring us higher into the mountains. He squeezes my hand every once in a while, sending comfort and love to me through the bond.

Thank you all so much for being patient this week as I wrapped up my semester at work. I am OFFICIALLY on my break for the next three weeks, so I am hoping to spend a lot of time focusing on Reid and Taryn as there won't be work stuff to worry about. Updates will still be 3-4x a week, and hopefully still MWF, but since I am off of work and home with my kiddos and hubby for the next three weeks, plus the holidays will be happening, the updates may not be exactly on schedule, although I will still do my normal 3-4 chapters a week. And yes, I know. I'm in time out. Lots of love, Allie
