Josie POV

I was anxious now that Miranda was finally here. I wondered what she could tell me since I had seen her last. Moving forward, Miranda surprised me by hugging me. “Let’s stay positive, Josie; I have a better understanding of what we are up against. My goal today is to break any ties that exist between you and Tim,” she says with the voice of someone making a promise.

I felt a little ray of hope cross over me as I embraced the woman tighter in my arms.
