"Anastasia Robie!" Eskel slammed the door shut with his face all flustered. "Oh my God! You are one lucky guy, LeRoy!"

Ezra plopped down on the chair in LeRoy's study and tugged at his black long sleeved turtle neck. It was Eskel's idea to wear this. Why did he agree again? "How the fuck did that come about?"

"Just keep your mouths shuts."

"We know, we know," Ezra waved dismissively but paused- "Wait, is that why you asked of it"

Speaking of it, Eskel took out the file from where he had rolled it behind him, "You're going to look into it?"

"Seriously? So you want to help?" he sounded surprised. "I didn’t know we could do that."

"She's innocent," LeRoy said. "Someone is just trying to throw her to the crocodiles and I wanna know who."

Whoever it was, he thanked them in his heart. If it wasn't for this situation, would he have ever seen his mate? Even if their paths might've crossed, she would've rejected him in the blink of an eye and hung onto Weston.
