As Honi sat in my office, I called Andrew. He answered on the first ring, “Alpha Izzy. How are you doing?” I smiled, “I’m fine, Co-Alpha Andrew. The next morning, I woke up to an empty bed. I looked at the clock on my night table and found that it was eight o’clock in the morning. It was later than I normally got up, so I felt like I needed to hit the ground running. I smelled sausage cooking and my stomach started rumbling. It had been a week since the meeting with Raymond and things were going much better. Construction had started on his pack house and he was fine with some of our warriors being there to protect my builders. He actually welcomed it because he told me that he turned away some rogues who wanted to join his pack. They were honest with him and told him why they were rogues and he chose not to let them in. After a nice dinner, we stayed at our table and waited for all of the pack to arrive. While we were waiting, another table was added to the end of ours to allow the elders to sit alongside us at the head of the meeting.
