11. Many hidden Truths.

We have been waiting for John for almost three hours now, but he still hasn't arrived. Time was passing by quickly, and I was becoming increasingly nervous. I am still in shock and have not been able to recover yet.

I noticed Brendon staring at me, and it seemed like he had been doing so for a while. His gaze was intense, and it made me uncomfortable.

I know lots of questions are running through his mind as to how I knew Hardin's wife, Josephine, and his kid. But I was not sure whether now was the time to say anything cos of how tense the atmosphere seemed.

So, I looked away because looking directly into his eyes only made me more anxious.

As I watched the video of my sister crying on her knees, I felt a deep pang of sadness hit me.

Her husband was also watching her on the laptop, and it was clear that he cared for her deeply.
