Chapter 66.

Titus POV.

For the last three days, Destinee has been feeling the effects of the heat. It was becoming harder not to give in. She has been showering in cold water and won’t allow me to touch her. As much as I love her, she is being stubborn.

“Titus, we need to postpone this ceremony. Destinee is going into heat sooner than we thought and I can’t feel Aura.” Orion tells me he is fretting and this is hard on us both as much as it is on Destinee and Aura.

Marcus and I have managed to evacuate the packhouse and make sure the lockdown sequence is working. All I have to do is hit the button and the packhouse will be locked down within 10 seconds.

“Titus, are you ok?” Orion asks and I groan, I can feel the pain Destinee is feeling and it makes me gasp. She is torturing herself and me, but I understand why.

Destinee has been waiting for years to be acknowledged as an Alpha and even though I think it would be best to postpone until next month, she won’t hear it so I’m stuck at what to do.
