Katherina moved her cellphone away from her ear. She left it on the table and began wiping the tears from her cheeks with the sleeves of her wrists. She fidgeted with her hands and fingers, feeling indecisive. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and furrowed her brow. When she opened them, she looked towards the corner of the kitchen, seeing everyone watching her.

She cleared her throat.

"What do you want? Weren't you all talking about your own things out there?" she asked, trying to adopt the ungrateful attitude she had been showing these days. She took a quick spin, wiping away her tears, crossed her arms, and leaned back against the kitchen counter. "Just mind your own business, and I'll mind mine."

"Katherina..." Min said. "Are you okay?"

"Excellent!" she exclaimed with a forced smile.

"That's not what your teary eyes reflect."

"So now I can't cry because I feel bad, right?"
