Essy ended up doing chores the whole evening and night that she wasn't even able to sleep until the early hours of the morning.

  Still, she managed to head to school the next day but this time she wasn't so lucky as she was punished for late coming. 

  She only got to be allowed into the school compound during break time.

Her friends were Indeed very surprised to see her looking haggard.  " Where have you been, Essy? We've been waiting for you all morning but didn't see you. " Jemmy was the one that spoke up.

" Well, I have... Ouch. " She wasn't able to complete her sentence as she felt a short pain on her shoulders when she removed her backpack making her since. 

" What's up with you, Essy? " Stacy said holding her hands gently.

  " I... " Essy wasn't able to complete her sentence as she burst out sobbing.
