Chapter 126

Amanda climbed down the stairs slowly, she was thinking about what happened yesterday. She touched her neck and felt a pain. She fisted her hand into a ball and clenched her jaw, as she raised her head up, her gaze met with Mr Gilbert and Derek sitting on the sofa watching a football match.

She shot them with a deadly glare and turned. "I don't want to be a weak vessel to them, it is better to avoid them than to face them." She turned and began to walk back to her room.

Derek gave out a chuckle and called her.

"Amanda come back here." He instructed in a command tone.

"That's how when has always been, always ordering, instructing and commanding around." Amanda thought and stood still. She turned around and walked to him.

"His words always sound like a magic to her as his words always send a shiver down my spine." She thought and stood in front of them.

"Why are you doing all this." Derek suddenly asked after few minutes of silence. She wasn't expecting him to ask such question from her
