Chapter 16

It was in the evening and dinner time, everybody was on his or her seat but Adam was excepted.

The maids served the food, then Nancy noticed his absence.

"Where is Adam?." She asked, looking at the stars and his seat.

"That's true and that's unusual for him to miss dinner. Andrew spoke... Let me go and call him for dinner." He added, and everyone looked surprised.

"No, I will get him here." Mrs Gilbert said, then she got up and went upstairs.

"That's a nice try boy." Mr Gilbert whispered into Andrew's ear. He scoffed and picked up his spoon.

Adam stared out of the window, he couldn't get his mind off what happened earlier on.

"Why did she have to support him every single time, I don't know the reason why I am taking this so seriously." He thought and a sigh followed.

His stomach rumbles that when he remembered his dinner, he checked the time. "The dinner time has past, maybe I don't really need the food." He muttered, he raised his arms off the window and walked towards his bed
