Chapter 48

Mr Gilbert and Adam walked through the busy street. They haven't spoken to each other ever since they have been walking.

"How will I start a conversation with him right now? Mum didn't give it a second thought before saying those words. I wonder how he would be feeling now?." Adam thought and took a glance at his Dad, Mr Gilbert tilted his neck to Adam all of a sudden and saw Adam staring at him. He stopped walking immediately and faced him properly, Adam also stop walking.

"I am sorry for dragging you into this mess, I should have faced it alone. I hope the cold is not too much for you?."

"Dad, you don't have to worry about me, I am fine and okay. Then about Mum, I am very sorry for everything she said to you, I know she said it out of anger. Please forgive her." Adam pleaded.

"I know your Mum was too harsh but it is fine but you caused everything that happened back there. You never listen to any body. Tell me what caused all this things because I know you weren't like this?."
