Chapter Thirty - Five : Forgiveness

Daniel was sitting across from Clarke who is sitting nonchalantly without a care in the world. His leg was folded on his lap his arms stretch out across his pure leather couch and he was whistling while staring at every inch of the living room very suspiciously.

Alissa was sending Hope to Daniel’s neighbor below his penthouse, an elderly woman he had known for many years to take care of Hope temporarily while the three of them sort out their problems.

“You know, staring at me like that means you must’ve really missed me all these years.”

“You wish, asshole. I miss putting my hands on you again and not in a fun way.”

Clarke whistled. “Yikes. So much for planning to stay with you huh?"

Daniel sat up straight and lean forward. “In your dream, asshole. You ain’t living here. No way in hell I would let you get near to my wife and my kid.”
