"Police?" Kaden asked looking at the many police officers that were waiting for them outside the hospital building,

"The police? What are they doing here? Did they come for my sister?" Veronica asked looking like she was panicking, 

"Relax sister in law, they won't take Mel away, she didn't do anything wrong," he assured looking at Mel then at the police officers,

" Yeah Mel is innocent she doesn't have a single crime bone in her body," Aiden tried to lighten the mood but it was a wrong time,

"Good evening Mr Leighton," one of the cops said stepping closer to him,

"We just wanted to ask Mrs Leighton a few questions regarding what happened at the residence,"

"I'm sorry but as you can see, She is sleeping right now, and the doctors advised her plenty of rest due to her condition," Kaden looked at Mel who was soundly sleeping,
