Chapter sixty four

Melissa was lying in bed with her head on Kaden's lap both of them in their own worlds staring at their phones.

It had been a week since everything happened and grandfather got discharged from the hospital two days after he woke.

They threw him a party were he declared that he was officially going to retire and leave his son and grandsons to take care of everything.

Melissa's phone chimed catching the attention of Kaden, he stopped looking at his phone and looked at hers.

It was a text message from an unknown number,

Melissa opened the text and it said,

Unknown: Hey

"Who texted?" Kaden dumbly asked dispite seeing that it was an unknown number.

"I don't know," Melissa shrugged

" And what did the text say?" He asked

" It just said hey but I'm not responding," she said going back to scrolling through faceb*
