Chapter Forty-Eight

"I am fine Jake, I wasn't being followed," I said. "Alright then, that was crazy what you did," He said. I then turned to see his Dad Henry in the sitting room.

"Hello Herny," I said moving towards him and hugging him.

I could see that he was also concerned about my well-being. "I am sorry about everything that you are going through," Henry said.

"No don't be, Henry," I said and sat opposite the lounge he was sitting on.

Jake had already gone inside to get something for me.

"Please have this wine, before the food gets done," He said. I understood why the food wasn't done early at that time which was because Jake had just gotten there not that long.

"No problem," I said and sipped the wine in the glass cup that he gave to me.
