Chapter 35

Henry paced back and forth in his bedroom, his mind consumed with thoughts of Sharon. He had always been curious about what it would be like to be with an alien from another world, and he couldn't shake the desire to experience it for himself.

But there was a problem Sharon's mate, Ethan, possessed magical powers that frightened Henry, he didn't want to get on the wrong side of a powerful being, and he knew that pursuing a relationship with Sharon could potentially put him in danger.

But despite his fears, Henry couldn't resist the urge to see Sharon again. So he picked up his phone and dialled the number of his contact, Jessica, his partner,

"Hey Jessica," he said when she answered. "I'm in town for a few more days and I was wondering if you'd like to join me for a drink tonight?" Henry asked,

"Sure thing, Henry," Jessica replied. "I'll come by your house around 8 pm?" she said,

"Perfect. Oh, and Jessica? can I confide In you ?" Henry asked,
