Chapter 6

Ciara's POV

I waited for Tristan's mum to call me into the room, my heart thumping in my chest. My head seemed to be filled with vivid images of him, with images of the time we had spent together, images of the good times we had shared.

I wanted those good times back. Fuck, I wanted to have him back. I wanted him because he was mine and nobody else. This wasn't an obsession. This was me taking back what was rightfully mine and had always been mine. We belonged together, and for the few months that we have been apart, the hole in my heart grew larger everyday.

That was why I jumped first time at the opportunity his mum had offered, asking me if I still loved Tristan enough to marry him. It wasn't even supposed to be a question. I loved Tristan enough to do more than just marry him—I was willing to do anything to show him that I wasn't the same Ciara of a few years ago. I wasn't that same Ciara. I was ready to love him wholeheartedly, I was ready to dedicate my existence to him.
