Nine: Safina

The past few days after I had danced for Lex’s birthday had been uneventful and I surprisingly haven’t heard of him or seen him inside the nightclub which was a good thing.

I sighed as I got off the bed and put my hair into a ponytail before making the bed up

But why couldn’t I stop thinking about him? He’s just some random guy I slept with, nothing more.

“Not every guy you meet will hurt you, Angel, but you deserve better than what that *ssh*le did to you.” He caressed my cheek and leaned forward, I closed my eyes as our lips met.

I shook my head, shaking off the thoughts and memories of that night “He must’ve said that to butter my *ss up into sleeping with him.” I say to myself as I got out of my room, surprised to see Bella near the stove, cooking up something for lunch

“Good afternoon babes! Slept well?” She says, getting some spices and aromatics from our cupboard pantry and placed it on the Dutch oven that contained the food that she’s making “I’m making butter chicken for
