A few days passed and for some reason, Mel was feeling a certain discomfort. She’s not sure what it was. She was lazing in her room, when she decided to check her old email. It’s been months since she last opened it. She created a new one for work purposes, looking a bit more professional. She also abandoned her old phone number and has been using another. Anyway, there’s still social media where she remains in contact with her former classmates. She rarely checks in with their group chats and groups, though. Her username was also cringe-inducing.
