Oliver parked his car in front of a huge mansion and we all stepped out of the car. The building ahead of us was at least twice the size of Oliver's house and it looked more grand. 

The large parking space gave the impression that this place was accustomed to receiving many guests. The sound of soft violin reached was heard from outside and other people were making their way into the mansion.

The day finally came for Oliver's mother's birthday and I was nervous. I wondered if she was going to like me or if his relatives were going to accept me. Despite having a head full of dreadful scenerios, I made myself believe that since Oliver was a bundle of love and kindness, his family would probably be the same.

"Stay by my side always," Oliver said to me and I nodded as he wrapped an arm around my waist.
