Avery stared at her, angry at the question. It was bad enough that he was struggling to deal with how delicious she smelt and now, she was asking him this?

How in the world was he supposed to explain something like last night to her? She would think he was crazy and he needed her not to have such thoughts towards him, even though he had only married her to clear his conscience.

He tried his best to soften his features, regretting showing anger towards her. It would only make her think she affected him.

Because she didn’t.

Avery picked up his fork again and placed a slice of bacon in his mouth, very sure she was surprised at how quickly he changed.

“Yesterday night was none of your business.” He replied finally. “Eat. You do have a long morning ahead of you.”
