Chapter 40, Nancy Doubt

"I'm so sorry about my outburst," Charles apologized to the customers in the restaurant's private section, after attracting their full attention. He met eye contact with CEO Jerry, who stared at him irritably, wondering why a poor man like him was in a section meant for billionaires, the rich, and nobles in City X.

Charles wanted to stand up and leave the private section immediately to go downstairs and confirm if the lady Stevo had sent a photo of was there, as he hadn't seen her upon arrival.

He was accustomed to visiting the private section of the restaurant and forgotten now that he had to act poor.

Despite this, he went to the private section and stared at the waitress who finally served his meal on the table.

"Here's your order, sir," the smiling waitress said to Charles, dressed in their blue staff uniform.

"Okay. Thank you, you can leave," Charles dismissed her and immediately texted Stevo,

*Are you sure that she's the one?*

*I don't know, boss. But she looks like your bride. I
