Chapter 53 - Preparing To Leave

Nancy stared away from Charles as she made her way outside and towards the bus station to enter an available bus. To her surprise, Mr. Henry didn't arrive to take her home either. She sighed in relief as she finally got into a cab that drove her to the location of the new site that her house agent had sent to her.

As Nancy arrived, she fell in love with the calm area, as it looked so peaceful and secure, even though it wasn't an estate.

The house agent finally arrived and showed Nancy the apartment she had specifically chosen. Nancy agreed to pay the house rent before she left and went back home.

Nancy was all smiles as she finally arrived home. Mr. Henry stood on his balcony upstairs and saw that Nancy had arrived. She smiled and greeted him, "Good evening, sir."
