I didn't wait for her to say another word again, as I dropped the call. I told her father to give me some time for me to think this whole thing through. I don't understand why he keeps bugging me to give him answers.

His daughter can go ahead and marry another man. Goodness!

Lucy hasn't reported to work this morning. I had called her earlier and she told me that she was still trying to convince her mother.

Well, I'm happy she accepted. At least Ophelia would have some burdened relief of her shoulders.
