Heath looked up to see Aurora already in tears. Lysander leaned in and said, "Come on, it's just a burn. No big deal."

Ignoring him, Heath dialed a number on his phone. "Kieran, pick me up from 'Nocturne.'"

Lysander was taken aback. "You're leaving already?"

Heath sat down to put shoes on Aurora and replied, "What else? Can't you see she's in pain?"

Seeing Aurora's tears flowing like a flood, Lysander had no choice. Alaric chimed in, "Let Heath take Aurora home first. Eamon doesn't need to leave right away; we can keep drinking."

Heath lifted Aurora into his arms and turned to nod at Eamon. "Sorry, I owe you a meal."

Eamon suddenly stood up and walked over to Heath. "How about tomorrow? Since Aurora isn't feeling well, let's gather at your place. I'll bring the wine."

Lysander finally cracked a smile. "Sounds good! Party at Heath's place tomorrow!"

Eamon didn't say anything but shot a fleeting glance at Aurora, who buried her face in Heath's chest without uttering a word.
