Nate’s POV

“So, Marie, would you like to tell Nate a little thing about yourself?” Her father said in a val voice in the midst of dinner, I meant after we’ve spent almost one hour around the dining table, with them actually eating their food and me fiddling with my cutleries and barely eating a thing. At this point, I was sure that Marie’s brother, Jack, wasn’t going to be coming to the said dinner tonight, which made me relax a little. I could remember asking Marie about it immediately after we’ve both sat down around where her dad had assigned us to.
