CHAPTER SIXTEEN

MIA'S POV

I opened my eyes and realized I was in a hospital. I groaned out in my pain. I held my head while trying to sit up. I noticed I wasn't alone in the room.

I saw Mr Black sitting not too far from me. His legs were stretched out while resting his back on the chair he was sitting on with his eyes closed.

I noticed I was in a private ward. I heard the door and the Doctor walked in. It was the same Doctor who had confirmed I was pregnant.

I felt a sense of panic rising inside me. He was going to find out.

"You are finally awake. How are you feeling?" He said. Mr Black eyes flew open.

" I'm fine. Just feeling a little bit weak "

"It is expected because of your condition."

"What condition? Doctor , what is wrong with her?" I heard Mr Black ask.

" She's pregnant. And according to the test carried out, she hasn't really been taking care of herself. She needs a lot of rest and vitamins. She's at the delicate stage of her pregnancy."
