“Father, you look dull. Is there a problem ?” Kelvin asked, seeing his father's face down since he came in.

“Nothing son, I’m fine. Just some little migraine” Cole replied, fondling his son's hair.

Kelvin knew his father for long and he could tell that something was truly wrong with him, he noticed the tone with which he replied to him and he could see through his pains.

“But dad, you look ...” he was saying before he was hushed by his mum

“I actually think that’s enough Kelvin, your dad just came back from work he needs rest” his mother Stella said.

“Don’t worry son, I’m alright. I just need to get some drugs and a little rest, I’d get over it okay” Cole said, giving a little smile.

The family had their dinner in silence as everyone never muttered a word except for the compliment of this father about his moms’ food, immediately they were done eating, they all retired for the night.
