Chapter 123: Made up with Liam

Lucas looked at the time and saw that it was already past seven in the evening. He had decided to complete all of his pending work and so they wouldn’t eat into his schedule any longer.

When he picked up his phone, he saw that Kiandra had called and left him messages. He hadn’t noticed when his phone was ringing and so he immediately proceeded to call her.

When he got across to her she wasn't too happy about him still at the office and she asked him to come back home immediately so he would sleep outside their room.

Lucas didn't need to be told twice as he immediately packed up and left his office. When he got to the elevator, he was met by Liam who was about to enter.

He wasn't ready to talk to Liam and at the same time, he didn't want to make it look like he was avoiding him.

And so, he sulked it up and got into the elevator alongside Liam. The two men kept a distance from each other and the ride was silent as neither of the men were ready to talk to the other.
