Pretend To Be Nice

Barbara deliberately waited in front of John's house. She was angry with Harry for not inviting John to come to her house, so she deliberately came to John's house to meet the man.

John sighed in annoyance when he saw his mother-in-law. He felt reluctant to get out of the car.

Luna understood her husband's feelings. "I'm the one to see her." She exited the car first and approached Barbara, who was now waiting.

Barbara glanced at the car. She waited for John to come and see her.

Luna also looked at her husband's car and turned to talk to her mother. "Come in, Mom."

Barbara nodded her head, then stepped into John's house.

"Doesn't your husband want to enter the house?" She glanced at John, who was still in the car.

"He still has a little business elsewhere." At the time, she said, John happened to start his car's engine and then drove away.

Barbara wants to prevent John's departure but realizes her actions might make Luna even more suspicious.
