HAYDEN’S POV

I picked the call and placed it on my ear. Brittany was still looking at me.

“Hello” I said my hands shaking slightly.

“She’s awake” The doctor said and I jumped off the bed.

Brittany seems startled as she got off the bed too.

“What’s wrong?” She asked hurriedly.

“I...need to go” I said.

“Go where? I don’t understand” she utters.

I didn’t answer her. I entered the closet and changed into a shirt and trouser. I rushed out of the room and went downstairs immediately.

The driver on seeing me walked up to me hurriedly. I didn’t need to tell him anything. He opened the door for me and got in the driver’s seat and drove off immediately.

The drive to the hospital was the longest in my life.

“Can you just speed up” I told the driver.

“It would be dangerous if I do so. We would soon get to the hospital” he said while I just nodded impatiently.

We finally got to the hospital and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I entered the hospital and met the doctor.
