Chapter 14: Heaven On Earth
I manage to escape the house without Brad noticing and run to the stable. Hoping that Dean is there, I look all over for him but don't see him anywhere. Strolling over to Nelly, I brush her down and rub her nose. When she snorts, I produce an apple from my pocket to give her.
Before I am able to give it to her, I feel hands circling my hips and turning me around. Ready for a fight, I tighten my fists and put them up to hit Brad if necessary, but he isn't the one with a grip on me. Instead, I am face to face with Dean. Or I should say, face to chest.
Tilting my chin up, I stare into his eyes as he leans down to kiss me. His grip on my waist tightening and raising me up, so I can wrap my legs around his. Once my legs are crossed behind his back, he lowers his hands to my butt and leans me up against the wall of the stall.
