When we pull up, I say to Sam, "What now?"
I open my door and the officer walks over to me. He asks, "Ma'am, are you Jenna Davis formerly Jenna Harrison?"
Sam stares at me and I glance over at her with furrowed brow. I reply to the officer, "Yes. Why?"
"Because, I have a message from Dean Smith. He has been in a car accident and is in County General, but he needs you to contact his lawyer because he was drinking while intoxicated. Once he gets done at General, they are taking him over to the jail Ms."
"Oh. I see." I stop and swallow hard. "When will he be able to come home?" Sam stares at me knowingly and I can tell she feels bad about the whole thing.
"Well, assuming his attorney gets the paperwork ready. Tonight, tomorrow the latest. They like to throw them in the drunk tank for the night, but since he is in the hospital, they won't."
"Speaking of that, is he O.K.?&nbs
Thank You all.
"Get up quick! Dean's attorney is here and he said he needs to talk to him." Sam yells through the door and I can barely wake up before Dean jumps out of bed, making the spot he was in cold to the touch. "Shit. That doesn't sound good at all." He shakes his head and runs his hands through his hair, from the front to the back. Rifling around on the floor for his jeans and shirt, he turns the light on when he can't find them immediately. Yelling out to Sam, he says, "Let him know that I will be out in a minute or two. I just have to put some clothes on." Hearing her drop something outside the door, she eventually says, "No problem, but hurry. It's important." Still trying to wake up, I stretch and yawn before climbing out from underneath the covers. When I do, a shiver goes down my spine and I get goosebumps from the chill in the air. Quickly finding my clothes, I pull on my pants and swe
"Brad, now what happened?" I text him after my phone call to the attorney. Sitting at Dean's desk in the living room, I wonder why it took Brad so long to get into trouble again. Hearing the notification sound, I glance at my phone to see that he has texted me."First, did you contact my attorney and get through to him? He isn't answering my calls or texts.""Yes, I did. He finally answered after about 9 rings. Apologizing, he said he will get right on it. So answer me.""You know how I like to play with my business associates? Well, one of them didn't like it and ended up calling the police. They are filing charges against me for kidnapping."Not surprised at all, a smile spreads across my face before I stop it in it's tracks and look over at Sam, sitting on the couch with Dean. I feel bad for Sam. They will never have the kind of relationship that Dean and I have and unl
"What do you mean? Why are you selling the stable and the horses?" Troubled, I question Brad while I walk Nelly. Stopping, I wait for an answer and realize he has absolutely no intention of telling me. It's getting really chilly out today. Even wearing my ultra warm coat rated to 30 below, I can still sense the cold seeping into my bones. So, when I stop and wait for him to say something else, I hasten him along a little by saying, "And." The look he gives me is priceless and I end up bursting out in laughter. Looking at me sterny, he stomps off. Mounting Nelly, I squeeze with my thighs and she instinctively moves. Catching up with him quickly, Nelly falls into an easy stride next to him. He steels a glance at me and then back down at the ground before he tells me. "I have all my money tied up into the company and now this wedding. Sam doesn't know and she doesn't need to know
"Crash" The next morning I wake up to a loud sound in the kitchen. So I climb out of bed and grab my bathrobe, pulling it around me before I run towards the sound. Used to bad things happening lately, I prepare for the worst. However, when I get to the kitchen, I immediately start laughing when I see Nicole and Sam trying their hardest to collaborate at making breakfast. Now I know, Nicole can't cook a single thing. This is why the kitchen looks like a huge disaster zone. Dean comes running in behind me, after he heard the commotion from outside. He exchanges glances with me and then we both start laughing. "Can you two stop laughing at us for one second?" Nicole yells and when I look at her I realize that we hurt her feelings. "Nicole, I'm sorry. It is just too funny to wake up to. I mean, lately everytime I hear a crash or a bang, it's someone getting shot or hurt. So
Not knowing what is going on, we rush Nicole to the hospital. Where the blood is coming from, we can only guess. Just hoping that the baby is O.K., we wait outside in the waiting room to hear from the doctors. When it has been over an hour, I start to really worry and watch as Dean stands up and paces around the room. Grabbing a cup of coffee from the vending machine, I hand it to him and try to calm him down. I can tell that he will make an excellent father and hope that some day, I will be blessed with children of our own. Finally about a half an hour later, the doctor comes out with one of the doctor's in training. He states, "We had to do an emergency surgery on her, but we think that her and the baby should be fine. She will just have to stay in the hospital for awhile, till they are out of the woods. With her only a couple months pregnant, the danger is higher for a miscarriage than it would have been if she
"Bang."A shot rings out in the darkness and I fall to the ground. Not knowing what just happened, I feel an agonizing sharp pain in my chest. The only thing keeping me conscious is the thought that if I die, Dean will never forgive me.I see him rushing over to me and he picks my head up before I black out. Coming to, I hear a booming voice and when I open my eyes, I see the brightest, most colorful light that I have ever seen in my life. It is so beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes.Briefly, I wonder what happened. Then after a few minutes, I no longer care when a pair of hands that feel like babies skin lifts me up off of the ground and carries me. There is something indescribable about the feeling that I am having. The serene atmosphere, reminds me of the complete happiness that I felt when my parents hugged me as a small child. Smiling so big that my face hurts, I lay there
"Oh my god!" I hear Dean shout before coming to my side. Even though everything is black, my hearing is still good, except for one thing. The shotgun blast is still ringing in my head. The sharp pain exploded throughout me like red-hot fire. "Call 911 now!" He screams at someone across the room and then I pass out. "Hey, she is waking up. Get the doctor." Dean yells excitedly as I try to open my eyes. I hear someone else rush in with a heavy step and then stop right next to me. With my head still pounding, I force my eyes to open. Immediately I close them and start to cry because the light makes my head hurt ten times worse than it did before. "Jenna, can you hear me? I am doctor Albright." He says softly. Barely opening my eyes, I cry out, "Turn the lights off." "Well, that's a good sign." Dr. Albright answers half laughing. I watch Dea
"She is having a seizure!" I hear someone yell as it all feels like a dream. Watching my body spasm and twitch, this weird feeling comes over me as if I am in a haze and this has all happened before. But, for some reason I feel like something dreadful is about to happen and strangely enough, I want to jump for joy. What is the matter with me? Continuing to watch the doctor do his best to hold me down, the nurses try to inject something into my I.V. The haze, gets worse and I swear that I am rising off of the table and floating in mid-air. A tingling starts at my feet and runs all the way up to my head before I realize that they have strapped my body down to the table. I feel a disconnect, like I am astro planing and start to float across the room. Hovering above the machines, I stare at the monitors and can't tell if it says that I am flatlining or what it means. Just when I think this situatio
