Heart blinked in disbelief as Lux released her. The annoying guy walked out of the office, and she quietly followed him.

That's a song by a band. It played while he was looking at her, smiling but she didn't smile back. It's as if he's foolish for listening to the song, even though she didn't want to, it's like she has ears of a mouse. The lyrics of the song "Mahal pa rin Kita" involuntarily enter her ears.
