Heart's steps were slow as she walked alongside her mother towards the hospital exit where the ambulance was waiting. Her father was still in the room, being attended to by the health aides. Despite her relief that her father's condition had improved, she couldn't help but feel sad that they were leaving, and she wouldn't see them every day.

Mother and daughter exchanged glances and smiled at each other. "Don't cry, dear. You'll be home with us soon," her mother reassured her. She nodded, but her feelings remained unchanged.
