Chapter Twenty-Seven - Caught In The Act

Charles left me to myself, after our long walk around the school compound. I pleaded with him to stay, but he insisted that he was going to the library to do some reading and get his assignments done. I had to let him go, hesitantly.

I was left alone in the room. I felt so lonely without him. I took some time to take in every single detail of the room.

It was a compact affair. It wasn't as spacious as my regular room. It was actually intended for just one student, or rather, a maximum of two. It had two twin-sized beds, placed opposite each other, meant for two people, but Charles and I shared one. Of course I won't be able to sleep in the cold of London's night alone, except under the succor of his cuddling arms.
