Chapter Sixty-Eight: NYU’s Email Reply and Prom

Slowly but eventually, prom day arrived. Emily and Sarah were at Madeline’s house. They wanted to go to prom together so they decided to stay in one place so their dates could come pick them up from one location.

During the week, Emily and Sarah got asked to prom by two different guys. Both guys were fraternal twins and had claimed they’d been crushing on the girls for a while. Emily and Sarah agreed to go with them, just so they wouldn’t have to go alone.

As the girls were getting ready, gisting and laughing, Madeline heard a beep from her phone and walked over to her bed where the phone laid and picked it up. She opened her phone and saw it was a message from NYU.

“Girls, it’s am email from NYU. I think they’ve taken me out of the wait-list and now wants to admit me,” Madeline said, both excited and nervous.
