Chapter Thirty Six

Ellie was returning to Miesa’s hospital room from the cafeteria where she’d gone to get something to eat when she crossed paths with Mirabelle.

Now that she knew Cesar’s past with her, She was kinda jealous Mirabelle had had him first and Cesar had once felt something strong for her but she was also glad that they didn’t end up living happily ever after.

She wouldn’t have met him, had that wonderful one night with him and Miesa definitely wouldn’t be alive. She wouldn't even be wearing his ring right now.

“Hey Ellie." Belle greeted. "Long time no see”.

“Hey." Ellie said. "You work here?”.

“Yes but I don’t come in every day." Belle replied. "Is Miesa okay?.”

Ellie shrugged. “The doctor told Cesar and I that she’d need a donor for a stem cell transplant. Not just anyone would do.” Her face fell.

“Don’t be sad. Everything will be fine.” Belle told her.

“I know. I’m just…", She sighed then shook her head to clear the doubts. She smiled at Belle. "I want to thank you for…helping me
