"I've never cared about other people's feelings. I only care about you, the man I love," Veronica said as she wrapped her arm around Frans's, using his muscular arm as a pillow for her head. Not to provoke Yogi but because Veronica was genuinely tired right now.

"You're tired!" Frans embraced Veronica.

Veronica nodded weakly. "Yes, I want to lie down right now. As you know, I can't stay away from the bed for too long," she teased.

"We'll wait until the doctor finishes examining Bianca. Then we'll go home," Frans replied, kissing the top of Veronica's head.

Such moments were quite normal for Frans and Veronica, but not for Yogi. It hurt his heart to see the affection between the married couple.

"Family of the patient?" a doctor asked as he appeared at the door.

"I'm her husband," Gerald quickly replied.

"We're her parents," Bianca's father added.

"Please come with me," the doctor instructed, and the three of them followed him into a nearby room, not far from the ICU.
