'That stupid stupid Kendrick.' How dare he use her love for her grandfather to trick her. Hailey huffed and puffed as she paced in front of the bed. She was so mad at the moment, that she was afraid her chest would burst.

That cunning man. To what extent would he go to make her life hell?

He even made sure her room was bolted with chains and padlocks so she wouldn't have any chance of going back. 'Argh.' and how could she be able to sleep in the same place with him without choking him in the night?

All she wished now was to rough him up and smash him into a mush the way he did to her baby. Her precious plant.

Hailey kicked the hard wood of the bed and slumped down on it. She should have known asking for a request was the same thing as digging her own grave.

She was so ready to stain his white shirt with mud, if not for that stupid phone call. Her promise to her grandfather had almost slipped her mind, because she was too busy drowning in her misfortune. If he hadn't mentione
