Chapter 63

Alexia's POV.

I and Natalia were so lost in dancing that we didn't know when Nathaniel joined us in the kitchen and he has been staring through me since we found him. It was like he was looking at me but not really looking at me.

"Nathaniel," Natalia called his name but he didn't answer. I don't think he even heard her at all until she shook his shoulder and snapped out of it.

"Is everything okay? You have been staring at Alexia since." She asked him.

He looked at her and then turned to look at me and I know the scowl on his face shouldn't surprise me anymore but it still did. One minute he was looking through me with a confused expression on his face and the next he was busy scowling at me.

"Who is playing music?" He asked harshly.

"I am," I answered automatically.

"Do you realize you have been disturbing the entire house? Your stupid music woke me up from my sleep." He was almost yelling and I flinched at his loud voice.
