Chapter 187 "48 hours"

Reese was dragged in the interrogation room in the Central Investigation Department. And her crime, attempted murder. Not once, but twice.

‘No! This can’t be happening! This isn’t in my plan!’ Reese shouted inwardly while she is sitting on a chair which was bolted to the floor.

Alone in the interrogation room, Reese looked around to see if there’s something that will help her know how much time have passed since she was brought here.

Unfortunately, there is no clock visible.

The flush metal solid door is windowless too, and she cannot open it from the inside. On her right side, she could see her reflection through the one-way glass.

Even if she couldn’t see the cameras and the audios inside, she knows she was being watched and listened.

Knowing that, Reese shouted, “I am innocent! I never tried to kill someone! Please! Let me out!”

Her words echoed inside the room. But no one replied her pleas.
