blurted out

"They are taking so long to come and it's making me suspect something fishy happening" he scolded with his face curved into a huge frown.

"They would be here soon," I responded.

He didn't look like someone who was going to listen to what I had just told him and be cool. I needed to look for something that would distract him.

"Let's move to the waiting room" I probed.

"Why do I feel you are hiding safely from me?" He questioned abruptly

"Okay, that's not true. I am not hiding safely from you, they are probably on their way, and in no time you would see them, but first let's get to the waiting room" I bellowed.

This time I was tired of petting his annoying question.

Without hesitation, we walked together toward the waiting room.
