SCARLETT'S POV.

I should've expected what Luca had done immediately we got out of ear and eye shot of everyone. The man had literally just withdrawn his hand and pulled far away from me like I had a virus or something. So, he'd done what any sane husband would do, take his wife out of the drama, and because our marriage wasn't real, he didn't need to fake it all the way so he pulled away.

It shouldn't have hurt when he'd done that, but for some weird reason it did.
