"What the hell?!" How do my kids know Chandler? I looked at Maeve and Cynthia, who were more confused than I was.

"Ugh, ugh. I coughed as I got close to them. "What's going on here, boys?" I asked.

"Mama, this is Mike; he buys us ice cream at school." Aiden said, trying to find the words.

"And he promised to come today, and he got us a gift." Caleb said in his tiny voice. I could tell they're happy to see him.

"Why not you boys? Go sit down and open your gifts, huh? Let me talk to Mike here." I said, looking at him as they both ran off.

"Can we go somewhere? We can talk in private." I asked him. He nodded, and I took him outside the house.

"What the hell are you doing in my son's school?" I asked him immediately as we got outside.
